A route to your first payout
Illustrative milestones · not a time or performance forecastAt least 3 trading days. This example uses three $1,000 net days; best day stays below 50% of total profit.
Realized profit above the $52,000 buffer can be requested, subject to TPT’s withdrawal terms. Reaching $54,000 is this example’s choice, not the minimum payout balance.
The trail stops. The loss limit still applies. Once the floor reaches $50K, it stays there and is enforced intraday. There is no need to wait for the close to lock it, and PRO does not switch to EOD. Payouts require realized profit above the buffer. Official drawdown rule ↗
Yes: $100 is above the buffer, so a $100 gross request leaves $52,000 and yields $80 after the 80/20 split, before withdrawal fees and taxes. TPT separately charges $50 for wallet withdrawals of $250 or less. You can choose when to request; this journey illustrates building a larger payout while retaining the buffer. Payout rules ↗ · Wallet withdrawal fees ↗
Taking the $2,000 buffer as well as the profit above it is a separate exit, not the repeatable payout route above. TPT requires the PRO account to be fully closed before releasing buffer profits. Its published buffer share is 50% for 60 or fewer trading days and 80% after that. A closed account cannot be reactivated or reset. Do not treat the whole $4,000 at a $54K balance as an ordinary 80/20 payout. Official withdrawal terms ↗
$1,600 payout after split − $102 modeled fees = $1,498 after modeled fees

Different prices can apply at checkout. The conditional TPT promo illustration is not a claim that the code is currently available. One-time plans do not rebill; Apex’s 30-day access limit still applies. More billing cycles do not extend it.
READ THE ROUTE CORRECTLY
Stages are evenly spaced to compare the process. They do not predict how long trading will take. Minimum trading days are requirements, not a promise of passing or getting paid.
One successful evaluation, the selected billing cycles, one activation and one approved payout. All figures are USD. Trading profit means net account profit after trading commissions. Pass targets assume the consistency rule is met; a large winning day can increase the required total. Evaluation profits do not carry into the funded account.
Cash totals include evaluation and activation fees only. Resets, replacement accounts, taxes, optional tools or data, and payment-provider charges are excluded. The payout figure is after the firm’s split, before transfer fees and taxes. These funded stages are simulated accounts; moving to live trading is a separate process.

These are named plan examples, not every account each firm sells. Base prices are used except when the conditional TPT promo example is selected. Compare current checkout offers separately in the cost ledger.
The NOFEE40 example uses a $102 monthly Test and a $130 PRO activation credit. It applies only if that promotion is available and your purchase qualifies. Test purchases using credits are excluded. PRO+ is a separate account; it is not an automatic step at $52,000.
Day-one eligibility after the buffer. Build the $2,000 buffer, then earn the amount you want to request. No funded consistency test.
PRO trails intraday, including unrealized gains. At a $52,000 peak the floor reaches $50,000 and stops trailing. This does not convert PRO to end-of-day drawdown.
Select Flex chosen after passing; Select Daily has different rules. Uses the post–September 1, 2026 cap of $2,500 and the current $3,000 evaluation target. Optional 50% evaluation consistency add-on is excluded.
5 winning days of $150+. Request up to half of total profits. No separate payout buffer or funded consistency rule.
The $2,000 EOD trail locks at $50,100 after a $52,100 EOD balance, or on a payout request, whichever happens first. The floor is enforced during the session.
View Tradeify profile →Single evaluation at base price, excluding discount codes and bundles. Evaluation expires after 30 calendar days, with no resets or rebilling. Activate within 7 days of passing. This PA allows at most six payouts; legacy and EOD plans differ.
5 qualifying days of $200+. Keep the $2,100 safety net. Best day must be less than 50% of total profit in the payout cycle.
Intraday trailing includes open profit. At a $52,100 peak, the floor locks at $50,100. The payout safety net is also $52,100, but it is a separate balance requirement from the loss floor.
View Apex Trader Funding profile →Standard monthly pricing with the $149 activation fee. No Activation Fee pricing, XFA Consistency, optional DLL cap increases and legacy profit splits are excluded. ACH or wire payout processing costs $30; other listed methods have no Topstep fee, but providers may charge.
5 winning days of $150+. Request up to half of the XFA balance. The 50K label is buying power; your funded balance begins at $0.
The $2,000 EOD trail begins below $0 and locks at $0 when the balance reaches $2,000, or at the first payout. The floor is monitored in real time.
Base price without CLUB or new-customer discounts. $500 minimum payout request; no per-request cap. After the first payout, each subsequent payout requires $500 new net profit. No funded consistency rule. Balance begins at $0.
24 hours after the first funded trade. The first payout unlocks at $2,100 realized profit. This example retains that amount and earns the request on top; it is not the earliest eligible payout.
The plan-specific help guide says the $2,000 EOD trail locks at +$100. The marketing page also contains a conflicting $0 floor row; this journey follows the dedicated Rapid EOD guide.
